Nintendo’s Wii Fit can help to promote physical rather than sedentary activities for people of all ages; this has been specified by David Dzewaltowski, professor and head of the department of kinesiology at K-State and director of the university’s Community Health Institute.

Dzewaltowski said that Wii Fit allows a player to move physically which is too good as it has games that incorporates yoga, strength training, balance and aerobics. He said that since Wii Fit follows the basic principles of following an exercise program, it can be an effective tool to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle for some people.
