Hardware of video games is the main driver of economy as it is driving 13% increase in video game industry. It is felt in U.S in the month of January 2009. Only two of the tenth games were released and it is the continued strength of the economy.

Nintendo was again the most important publisher and occupying the first three sports in the video game chart. Wii Fit is capturing the market and sold 777,000 units in the month with the second place of Wii Play which has managed to catch the market 415,000 copies in the same period. Mario Kart Wii is the favorite competitive play on the Wii after selling 292,000 units.
